This programme enabled a complete shift in the thought process which isn’t an easy thing to achieve. Reflecting on class learnings from time to time with Dr. Ritu Uppal ma'am's timely guidance and support, the examples that she shared with us during the sessions from her vast teaching experience, made it possible to complete the course easily. Coming from a non-teaching background, this course helped me a lot to get acquainted to the different teaching & learning models and methodologies which can be implemented easily in the classroom.

I am currently the principal of Amulakh Amichand Bhimji Vividhlakshi Vidyalya both the Gujarati and English medium. I joined the Cambridge course in 2018 at MET. I enjoyed my course here as there was a lot of interaction between the groups, facilitated by the mentor. Group learning was absolute fun!

What made it really interesting was the incorporation of multimedia, reflections, lesson planning that engaged and motivated me at each step as it enabled achievement of learning objectives in each class. The in-depth observations of the experienced practitioners’ classes and their abilities made me do a lot of self-introspection.

Doing CIDTL at MET was the best decision as I now understand the nuances of effective teaching which I was unaware of. Dr. Ritu has a rich experience in the field which she delivers expertly using multiple strategies, individual and group works, reflections etc.

The administrative support is also strongly in place and the reading material provided in the form of handouts, presentations and videos aids the learning as well as portfolio creation. After doing this course I don’t consider myself as a teacher but as a reflective practitioner who is empowered not only to teach and train but also to learn from her own mistakes and improve each and every day.

Studying CIDTL course in MET was extremely innovative approach of learning for me. The intention of studying after almost 25 years, to fill the gap or upgrading myself, turned out to be most transformative experience for me. It taught me insightful pattern or methods of teaching. It completely gave new perspectives for teaching as well as learning. Our Mentor Rittu Upal is the most amazing lady with tremendous knowledge. Her life is filled with tons of live experiences in educational field which she shared it with everyone, every time she got the chance without any hesitation for clear understanding. It was working as highly effective booster for our deep learning. They were sincerely following "Preach what you teach" quote meaning Active learning method for teachers as well which was taught to us in the entire course that needs to be followed and applied by us in school level for younger students. The teaching was delivered by making different group activities, mono acting, chart making or peer discussions to understand every topic. Every session as well as surrounding at MET was so cozy & comfortable for us to open up to any query any time. The doors were always open even after all sessions got over whether it was classroom or library. We all were eagerly waiting for every Saturday's session by her. The whole team of CIDTL in sheer term made education or learning in active & fun method for our forever memories. Loads of love for MET. Thank you for Existing...!!!

I am very glad to share a positive journey of CIDTL at MET. I truly believe it is a place where one can find an amalgamation of learning, fun, lore and many such life preaching activities. Joining CICTL (module -1) course at MET proved to be the turning point in my teaching career and outlook.
