MRV Indo French immersion Programme - Countries and Cultures come close
“The world is a book and those who do not travel read only one page." – Saint Augustin.
At MRV we encourage learning in all forms- through books, music, dance and travelling.
Travelling paves the way for significant skill development in students. According to a
research article - travel changes perception, enhances cognitive and spatial skills and
leads to social and emotional development. It nurtures organizational skills and time
management skills as well.
The Indo-French excursion exchange programme conducted every year by MRV is a
true testament to the educational value of travelling, exploring places, learning and
engaging in meaningful interactions with peers.
At the onset of the programme, ever since the students step in the beautiful city of
Paris, known for its fashion, style and architectural grandeur, they transform to
unprejudiced, vigilant & keen explorers.
They navigate their way through the public transports, demonstrate ability to effectively
communicate and develop the sense of direction and topography of the place.
Those 10days spent with native French host families not only teaches them to value
open mindedness, mutual respect, adaptability but also fosters an international mindset.
The students create unforgettable & cherished memories during the 10 day programme.
The programme becomes a platform for a heartfelt exchange of cultures, ideas, and
worldviews through vibrant interactions.
In conclusion, this programme stands as a meaningful partnership between the school
and parents, designed to encourage students to reach their highest academic potential.
