MRV Youth parliament gave students the prestigious opportunity to explore the world of Indian politics, and provided them with great insights of the working of a parliament and gave them the chance to express their opinions on a scholastic level.
The agenda of the event was to cultivate and enhance the skills of articulate expressions, fluent and impactful communications and the ability to express opinions eloquently and respectfully.
MRV Youth Parliament session was a successful one with amendments to the bill Passed by a simple majority Junior Category Bill - Safeguarding Ladakh's fragile mountain ecology and indigenous people and Senior category Bill The Delhi-Mumbai Expressway - a Short-Cut to Socio-Ecological Disaster. Ms Dipti Humraskar a wildlife biologist shared her experiences on the on environmental issues and how one needs to co exist with the environment
The Second Edition of the MRV Youth Parliament witnessed an enthusiastic participation in both Junior Category ( Grade 6 and 7) and Senior Category ( Grade 8 to A levels) with engagement of non-participating students as well from Grade 6 to A levels as the viewing audience. MRV MUN Club office bearers and Faculty efficiently executed the event.
