MET Rishikul Vidyalaya (MRV), Mumbai, encouraged literary appreciation and creative expression as its Grade V students presented an engaging role play based on Totto-chan: The Little Girl at the Window.
As part of the curriculum, the activity enabled students to portray memorable characters and recreate meaningful moments from the story. Through performance and experiential learning, students explored literature beyond the written word, developing their confidence, expression, and understanding of the narrative.
The role play highlighted the importance of friendship, kindness, individuality, and the joy of learning. It also reinforced the message that every child has a unique personality and deserves the freedom to learn, grow, and express themselves.
At MRV – The Happy School, learning experiences are designed to nurture curiosity, creativity, and holistic development, making classroom learning meaningful and memorable.
