MET Rishikul Vidyalaya celebrated the 18th Annual event ‘Anandvan 2021’ for Primary, Secondary, AS and A Levels, which spanned over three days with six splendid shows. The event was graced by Shri Pankaj Bhujbal, Trustee - Mumbai Educational Trust, and Dr. G. Nagashree, Principal - MET Rishikul Vidyalaya as well as dignitaries from various other MET Institutes.

The Primary Section students from Grade 1 to 3 enacted the enchanting tale of C.S Lewis's ‘The Chronicles of Narnia’, taking us into the fantasy world of magic, mythical beasts and talking animals. ‘Paint the Town Rainbow’ was performed by students of Grade 4 and 5. This was an interesting adventure about three futuristic humans who are tired of their monotonous life which lacked colour and emotion. They travel back in time and not only discover the colours of positivity in Rabindranath Tagore, and the colours of celebration in King Akbar’s times, but they also carry these colours to make the future colourful and vibrant.

The Secondary Section revolved around the central theme of ‘An Attitude of Gratitude’. Grade 6 & 7 presented an act play called ‘Father's Legacy’ and Grade 8-10 enacted ‘Mother’s Day’. Both the shows were woven around the importance of gratitude towards fathers and mothers. The varied art forms of drama, music and dance displayed thankfulness and appreciation, not only for the great things in life but also the most insignificant things.

The students of AS and A Levels presented an exciting drama named ‘A Journey to Self Discovery’ - an adaptation of the famous movie ‘Soul’ along with an intriguing monologue performance. This was a befitting culmination of the three-day extravaganza of the much-awaited MET Rishikul Vidyalaya’s Anandvan celebrations of 2021-22.

The six magnificent shows were an interesting combination of skilful drama performances, soulful musical renditions, electrifying instrumental performances and power packed dance performances. The true essence of Anandvan was experienced by one and all.
